Happy Birthday Tim

I just want my husband know how much I love him. It was his birthday on May 7. It has been fun celebrating his birthdays. This year we celebrated it with our Niece McKell who also has the same birthday. I think she loves celebrating her birthday with her favorite Uncle Tim.
Tim is really an amazing man. He is always trying to work hard. (that is if I could just leave him alone.) He is always wanting the best for his family. He isn't just a great husband but an awesome Dad. Oh how Porter just loves to play with his Dad. They have a great relationship together and they seem to never get enough time together. Tim I hope that on your day that you know how much I and Porter love you. Thanks for being the man that you are. Keep up the good work.

4 Years and Counting

I can't believe that we have been married for 4 years. We have been having so much fun in our little journey of life. We have just been getting closer and closer. Learning each other better and better. I am so grateful to my husband Tim and all that he does for me. Thank you so much for being by my side when I need you. For being the strong one when things seem to be to hard for me to pull. I am truly blessed to have you in my life.
This year we didn't do much yet some how was one of the better ones that we did. We decided to go back to where it all started. First we had to eat at our restaurant at the Gateway mall. We eat at Biaggi's every year around our Anniversary. It is really good food and I think that everyone should go try it out. That is if you like Sea food and Italian food. If you like those two food groups go and try it out.
Once dinner was done we jumped on tracks and headed for Temple Square. We thought that it would be nice to take a stroll down memory lane. To remember why we first wanted to get married and where all the blessing started for us. It is amazing how something never change. Then with time how things seem to just get better and you love each other more than you thought that you could.
We had never gotten a tour of the conference center and thought hey today is a good time. On our tour it was just the two of us with David. A little side note... He use to be the executive producer for channel 2. He was just making the tour so much fun. It is always nice to be able to learn more about things and why they are there in the conference center. We belong to an amazing church.
It was getting late and they actually closed the doors so we thought that we weren't going to be able to go on the roof. However I guess God was on our side cause someone was still up there letting people come on out. We were the last people to go up and look around. It was so pretty just the perfect time of the day. The sun just set and it was just the prettiest blue sky that you have ever seen. It really turned into the perfect night.
I am just so glad that Tim and I are together and that we get to be on this journey together. It has only been 4 years and we still have so many more great ones to enjoy. I love you Tim and thank you for choosing me to be your eternal companion.

Rock Star

Oh he is ready! I was cleaning out one of the closets that we have and came upon our guitar. Porter saw it and knew right away what to do with it. I guess he is going to be a natural born player. Now when ever he see the guitar he puts the strap over his should and starts to play. You play that song for Mom Porter, you play.

Cereal Cereal and more Cereal

If there is one thing that makes him my son it is the love of cereal that we have. He and I can eat cereal all day long. I just never thought that he would love the "healthier" ones. I am just glad that we can snack on something together.

PB & J

I love my PB & J time and it shows. Really Porter loves sandwiches. If he could he would have one for breakfast lunch and dinner. He is always running up to the frig and opens it and says sanmich, sanmich. (Yes, my son can open our refrigerator and his not even two.)
The thing about giving Porter a sandwich is that he make a mess. Ok really it is more that he thinks he is the napkin. The jelly is all over his hair and the peanut butter all over his face. Still I guess if it makes him happy what are you going to do.

Angel Fan

It is safe to say that in our house we are Angels Fans. Porter anytime he sees anything that has the Angels logo on it will say Angels. It more comes out as Engels really. We still know what he is saying.
However we bought this hat for me about two years ago. Yes it is a kids size cause my head is super small. It is just weird to think that we almost have the same size head. I think that he looks cuter in it then I ever did. Go Angels!!!!!

Yum Butter

I just got done making some Banana Bread and gave a piece to Porter. Of course there is butter on it, what else do you put on Banana Bread. At first he was starting to eat the bread then discover that there was something better then the bread. That's right it is butter! He must have enjoyed the bread to cause it was all gone in less then a half hour. Don't you worry the butter was the first thing to go.

A Balloon?

One day this blue balloon flies up onto are back porch. Now before this day Porter would always run away from any balloon. He has been scared of balloons all of his life and we really don't know why. So when he found this balloon and wanted it I was surprised. What? Really? Is that all it took for him to not be scared of them anymore was to see one on our back porch? Why couldn't I figured that out sooner. It would have saved me a lot of time. I never liked seeing my Little guy so scared and run away from them. Even when all of his other friends where playing and having so much fun. I just want to thank that mystery balloon for showing up at my back door. Now from that day on he loves balloons and can't get enough of them.

Another thing that Porter does is he will now climb into the ottoman and act like it's his bed. He makes this nice bed and makes sure he has his blanket and then turns to us and says Na Nights. He has never fallen asleep in it yet, but it is still so cute to watch him pretend.

Easter Fun

Easter is always a fun time of the year. You get to think Christ and what a wonderful example he is for us. Then to know that we can make it back to our Father in Heaven because of what he has done. I am very grateful for Our Savior.
We celebrated Easter in a way that I think that most people do with their families. We went over to my parents house. Did some color of the Easter eggs and played games. My family is getting so big so when we get together is sounds like there is a concert going on. What a great memories we are all making by getting together.

The day of Easter we all got a little something special. However watching Porter get his presents our priceless. He just loves that he got a set of Golf Clubs. Our son really loves sports, and I mean all sports.

Oh yes he got candy also. He loves suckers and I think his face tells it all.

March Madness

It has been March madness in my home and for my side of the family. Colter had his baby blessing. Colter has been a joy to our family. He is always so happy and loves being with who ever wants to be with him. He is also the first Wright boy. We were starting to wonder if our brothers could have boys. It is true the Wright boys can have boys. It is still a joy to see Adam and Francine's family grow. Here is just a few pictures from that day.

Next we had a Baptism to go to. What a treat that was to watch our Niece Meg become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. She was so excited on this day and was so cute. It is fun to watch Meg get all excited and stuff. When she is excited she becomes really shy and giggly. We love you Meg. You are growing up so fast.

March for my family is full of birthdays. Meg's on the 5th. Adam on the 7th. Bentley on 17. Aspen on 27. Happy Birthday family we love you.
