Super Why!

We found a show that gives me a half hour in the day to give me a break to clean up the house or get ready or just breath. Thank you Super Why. That's not all he really is learning a lot from this show. It is teaching him his alphabet, spelling and solving problems, and how to read. This is him watching and picking out the right word when asked. I will say it I love that there are good programs on TV that can also help me teach my kid. TV just does it in a short amount of time and all colorful.
Super Why you have saved me more then once when I can not clam my child down. You really are a super hero. Thank you.

A Day at the Beach

Being in California you always have to go and visit the beach. We decided to go and make a afternoon trip and go and make sand castles. Now I haven't built sand castle for most of my life so I have forgotten how. I thought this will be fun and to see how Porter would also like the beach.

This picture is the closest thing I could get to how Porter really felt about it when we first got to the beach. He was so mad that we tried to put him down on the sand. He just hates to be dirty. I think it took us a good half hour for him to really be able to put him down. Thank goodness for the towel. That was the only place he would stand by himself.

After all the drama he finally warmed up and started to play on the beach. He had so much fun picking out rocks and playing in the water. Well more he liked that he could bring the water from one place to another.

This is me trying to build a sand castle. I am going to need a little more work on my skills of sand castle master.

The joys of being a kid.He really was happy at the end. It was a good day at the beach. We will just have to wait and see what happens next.

Angels Game 2010

If you can't tell we are big Angels fans, so when we got the chance to go to a game we jumped at the chance. This was Porter's first game and a major baseball field and it sure will not be the last. We had so much fun watching our team win. We are looking forward to are next Majors games.

Jenni's Graduation

Are little Jenni is growing up. She just graduated with her Masters. We really could be more proud of her for all the hard work she is doing. When Jenni puts her mind to something she really goes out and does it until it's done.
Jenni you really are an amazing girl we are so glad to have you in our lives. You mean the world to us. You are a great example not just to me but also to our family. Thank you for being the person you are. We love you.

These are just some and I mean some of the crazy pictures we got. Porter was so good and kept us laughing when the talks got you know a little dry. All and all it was good and we were glad to be able to be there.

Hotel Fun

Who would have ever thought that sleeping in a big bed would be so scary? I never knew how much Porter flips. It's not just flipping, it is standing up, walking, and flipping. For a Mom it is scary to watch thinking he will fall off the bed. Glad to report that at the first hotel he didn't fall off. Yet we have had a a fall off the hotel bed. Hope soon he will be OK to sleep in a bed and not a crib.

Happy Birthday Tim

I just want my husband know how much I love him. It was his birthday on May 7. It has been fun celebrating his birthdays. This year we celebrated it with our Niece McKell who also has the same birthday. I think she loves celebrating her birthday with her favorite Uncle Tim.
Tim is really an amazing man. He is always trying to work hard. (that is if I could just leave him alone.) He is always wanting the best for his family. He isn't just a great husband but an awesome Dad. Oh how Porter just loves to play with his Dad. They have a great relationship together and they seem to never get enough time together. Tim I hope that on your day that you know how much I and Porter love you. Thanks for being the man that you are. Keep up the good work.

4 Years and Counting

I can't believe that we have been married for 4 years. We have been having so much fun in our little journey of life. We have just been getting closer and closer. Learning each other better and better. I am so grateful to my husband Tim and all that he does for me. Thank you so much for being by my side when I need you. For being the strong one when things seem to be to hard for me to pull. I am truly blessed to have you in my life.
This year we didn't do much yet some how was one of the better ones that we did. We decided to go back to where it all started. First we had to eat at our restaurant at the Gateway mall. We eat at Biaggi's every year around our Anniversary. It is really good food and I think that everyone should go try it out. That is if you like Sea food and Italian food. If you like those two food groups go and try it out.
Once dinner was done we jumped on tracks and headed for Temple Square. We thought that it would be nice to take a stroll down memory lane. To remember why we first wanted to get married and where all the blessing started for us. It is amazing how something never change. Then with time how things seem to just get better and you love each other more than you thought that you could.
We had never gotten a tour of the conference center and thought hey today is a good time. On our tour it was just the two of us with David. A little side note... He use to be the executive producer for channel 2. He was just making the tour so much fun. It is always nice to be able to learn more about things and why they are there in the conference center. We belong to an amazing church.
It was getting late and they actually closed the doors so we thought that we weren't going to be able to go on the roof. However I guess God was on our side cause someone was still up there letting people come on out. We were the last people to go up and look around. It was so pretty just the perfect time of the day. The sun just set and it was just the prettiest blue sky that you have ever seen. It really turned into the perfect night.
I am just so glad that Tim and I are together and that we get to be on this journey together. It has only been 4 years and we still have so many more great ones to enjoy. I love you Tim and thank you for choosing me to be your eternal companion.

Rock Star

Oh he is ready! I was cleaning out one of the closets that we have and came upon our guitar. Porter saw it and knew right away what to do with it. I guess he is going to be a natural born player. Now when ever he see the guitar he puts the strap over his should and starts to play. You play that song for Mom Porter, you play.
